Here at Strathdale Wagyu we are always working towards improving the eating quality of our products – with this in mind our latest initiative has been in increasing the fineness of our marbling.

This drive for a better eating experience has fostered the idea for the Komakai brand – the best, only finer.

Komakai, by the Japanese definition is fine and small. This brand blends the values of our family-owned business with the origin of the wagyu breed to bring you the best of the best in eating quality.

An exceptional but limited selection, reserved for the very highest marbling.

Using MasterBeef camera technology, only cuts from carcases achieving a digital Marble Score 12 or greater are considered.

Marble score alone isn’t enough, each cut also displays exceptional marbling fineness, distribution and visual appeal to make the brand.

This is an elite and limited offering. Representing the best expression of Strathdale Wagyu.
